A Little About The Lions Club.
The Lions Club was founded June 7,1917 in Chicago Illinois by Melvin Jones. The object of the club was to help with blindness, eye care, guide dogs, blind camp, and Braille writers just to name a few. The "Focus On Sight" crusade began when Helen Keller challenged the Lions Club to become her "Knights of the Blind Against Darknes".
This Is A Little About The Clubs Size.

Today there are 44,249 Lions Clubs in 185 locations around the world. With their 1,423,415 members worldwide donating time and with the help of their communities, the Lions provide 600,000 free professional glaucoma screenings and make 20,000 corneal transplants possible each year.
